Updated Arctic Sea Ice

January 10, 2019: This week the sea ice increase rose at a larger rate than last week by another 3.30% from last week's level of 12.959 M km2 to 13.401 M km2 for this week, and so the rate of growth trend is up from last week and now 2019 remains just between the 2012 level (green line) and 2016 (red line) at this time of year. Now, 10 days into the year, it is a bit easier to spot the new 2019 line.
